Very good, thankyou
I had a very pleasant stay. It was a last-minute visit to Bogota, twice, to visit the Brazilian embassy to replace my tourist visa in my stolen passport. There was much paperwork to do, so I needed a basic business hotel. I am very grateful that you have good wifi and let me print out all the papers the embassy needed. The staff were so friendly. I do not speak much Spanish but everyone tried hard to understand me :). Thankyou for taking good care of me :).
There was only one rubbish bin in each room I stayed in, plus one in each bathroom. Most business hotels around the world have a bin at the desk, one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, and some have one in the bedroom. But this was okay.
I did not understand how to make the television work in either room. I tried all the buttons, but could not change channels. I could not find any English instructions on the TV or in the room, so I had to give up. But this was also okay.
The first time I checked out, I was having bad embassy problems and was running very late. I rang reception and asked (in English) if I could check out of my room 20 minutes late. The man I spoke to did not understand me at all, and he simply hung up! He did not even say "no entiendo" or "no habla ingles" or "lo siento" or "ciao" or "adios", he just HUNG UP on me!! Luckily I was so stressed I just had to LAUGH! :D Nobody called me back either. My only suggestion is - make sure staff know that if they do not understand guests speaking English, do not simply hang up on them and ignore them. All of the other staff were great :).
Thankyou again for a wonderful stay :)
